In this post, ALT tags and Title tags are going to be defined in HTML. Additionally, the benefits and improvements SEO impacts on websites will be further discussed.

What are ALT tags and Title Tags?

According to AT Internet, 

An ALT tag consists of texts used as an alternative for a photo or any visual concepts on a web page typically used in HTML code allowing developers to create descriptions of an image or video in cases where it is unavailable. (AT Internet, 2019)

Moreover, a Title tag contains a piece of HTML coding tag which then enables the developer to give a certain webpage a title. The title can be located in the title bar of the browser and on the search engine results page. This is an important factor as they play an important role in one's website when it comes to organic ranking. (AT Internet, 2019)

ALT and Title tags are vital in improving one's SEO ranking because these factors help in maximising the information and descriptions which are often seen and viewed on the search engine results page.
